Jamaican-American Reggie Kissoonlal (213-F/C-1996, agency: One Motive Sports) had a great game in the last round for Al Sadd Sports Club Doha and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 29-year old power forward had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Al Ahli D. (#7, 1-3) 90-80. Al Sadd maintains the 3rd position in Qatari QBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Al Sadd will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Kissoonlal had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Al Sadd's top player in his first season with the team. Reggie Kissoonlal averages this season 14.5ppg and 8.5rpg. Worth to mention Kissoonlal played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Shane Rector (188-G-1994) of Al Shamal Doha. Rector impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 35 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Shamal was edged by slightly higher-ranked Al Wakrah (#4, 3-1) 81-80. This loss caused Al Shamal to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Rector is a newcomer at Al Shamal and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.5ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.5rpg and 6.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Jesse Jones (183-PG) of Al Khor (#8). Jones got into 30-points club by scoring 40 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and four assists. Despite Jones' great performance the Al Khor lost 86-87 to slightly higher-ranked Al Gharafa (#6, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Al Khor can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Jones has individually a great season in Qatar. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 36.3ppg (best scorer) and assists with 6.0apg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Rashad Williams (188-G-2000) of Al Gharafa - 37 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Dejan Janjic (198-SG-1995) of Qatar Club - 30 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
