Al Rayyan have been crowned champions of the inaugural Qatar Basketball Super Cup for the 2025–2026 season after a dominant 97–72 victory over Al Sadd in the final held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall. The match was attended by Qatar Basketball Federation President Mohammed bin Saad Al-Mughiseeb and several officials from the federation and clubs. Al Rayyan took control early, winning the first three quarters with strong defense and fast transitions, led by standout performances from their foreign players, particularly Rolands Freimanis (209-PF-1988) who scored 27 points. Despite a late push from Al Sadd, who took the final quarter, the gap was too large to overcome. Deng Adel (201-F-1997, college: Louisville) led Al Sadd with 20 points, but it was Al Rayyan who lifted the historic first edition of the Super Cup.
