Doha, Qatar – The Qatar reserve men’s basketball team will conclude its participation in the 44th William Jones Cup on Sunday, July 20, 2025, facing Malaysia in its final match of the international tournament held in Taipei, Taiwan. This game marks the end of a significant preparatory phase for the Qatari squad.´

In its previous outing, Qatar’s reserve team fell to Chinese Taipei “B” with a score of 82-63. The host team dominated most periods, taking the first quarter 22-18, while Qatar edged out the second quarter 16-15. However, Chinese Taipei “B” regained control in the third quarter (24-12) and sealed the victory in the fourth (21-17).
