![]() The standout Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic was voted the Player of the Year of the championship-winning Al Arabi Club Doha.
He received multiple other awards, was selected as the Center of the Year, Import Player of the Year and was chosen to the First Team.
Kikanovic's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Al Rayyan 2 to 0 in the final series.
He was the Player of the Week honoree four times during the 24 25 campaign.
Kikanovic's playmaking prowess was on full display as he secured the fifth position in points per game averaging over 22 and second spot in rebounds per game with an impressive average of almost 12.
He has totalled 15 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 4 games.
Kikanovic registered double-doubles in 16 games at the event.
His 37 points against the Al Rayyan were the most he scored in the 24 25 season.
6 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
Justin Wright-Foreman, American point guard from the Al Rayyan Doha, was honored as the Guard of the Year at the Qatar.
He graduated from the Hofstra six years ago.
Wright-Foreman was also named to the First Team.
With Wright-Foreman's excellent performance, the Al Rayyan Doha achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 14 to 2 in the regular season.
His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Al Arabi 0 to 2.
Wright-Foreman received Player of the Week award twice during the 24 25 campaign.
His court vision was unparalleled as he secured the fourth spot in points per game, delivering an average of almost 26.
Wright-Foreman also averaged almost 5 rebounds per game in the league.
He has totalled 15 games of 20 or more points on the year and had 30 or more points in 4 games.
Wright-Foreman's 45 points against the Al Shamal were the most he scored in the 24 25 season.
6 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
Raekwon Rogers, 25-year old American power forward from the Al Ahli Sports Club Doha, earned the Forward of the Year of Qatar.
He is the Wagner alumni from 2022.
Rogers also earned a spot in the First Team.
He was voted Player of the Week in the league.
Rogers recorded over 20 points and almost 10 rebounds per game that season in the league.
He has totalled 13 games of 20 or more points on the year and logged 30 or more points in 2 games.
Rogers registered double-doubles in 12 games at the event.
His 36 points against the Qatar Club were the most he scored in the 24 25 season.
Babacar Dieng, forward from the Al Sadd Sports Club Doha, picked up the Domestic Player of the Year at the Qatar.
He was also voted to the First Team.
Dieng notched over 19 points and 8 rebounds per game over the season in the league.
He has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 7 games on the year.
Dieng's 30 points against Al Wakrah were the most he scored in the 24 25 season.
Skyler Flatten, 29-year old American swingman from the Al Sadd Sports Club Doha, was selected to the First Team of Qatar.
He is ex the South Dakota State from 2019.
Flatten averaged almost 20 points, , and over 3 assists per game in the league.
He has totalled 11 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 2 games.
Flatten's 43 points against Al Ahli Sports Club Doha were the most he scored in the 24 25 season.
Among many awards he was selected as the Eurobasket All-Swedish Basketligan Honorable Mention back in 2022.
