Naturalized Bosnia and Herzegovina Forward Nedim Muslic (196-F-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Al Gharafa Doha, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Al Khor (#9, 3-13) with 17-point margin 87-70. Al Gharafa maintains the 6th position in Qatari QBL. Al Gharafa is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-11 record. In the team's last game Muslic had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Al Gharafa, through which he has constantly improved. Nedim Muslic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 8.2rpg) and averages impressive 2.7spg and 58.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Raekwon Rogers (203-C/F-1999, agency: One Motive Sports) of Al Ahli Sports Club Doha. Rogers had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 20 rebounds. Of course he led Al Ahli to another comfortable win 81-66 over slightly lower-ranked Al Gharafa (#6, 5-11) being unquestionably team leader. Al Ahli's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 10-6 record is not bad at all. Rogers is a newcomer at Al Ahli, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#9). He also registered 10.4 boards per game. Former Wagner College star Rogers is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Grant Dressler (201-SF-1997) of Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (#3). Dressler showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Al Sadd, leading his team to a 106-74 easy win against the lower-ranked Qatar Club (#7, 4-12). Al Sadd needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 5 lost games. Dressler has a great season in Qatar. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 8.2apg (best passer).
