Experienced Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Kikanovic (211-C-1988) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Al Arabi Club Doha and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 36-year old center had a double-double of 25 points and 20 rebounds, while his team edged out Qatar Club (#6, 1-3) 88-85. Al Arabi maintains the 2nd position in Qatari QBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Arabi already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Kikanovic had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Arabi's top player in his first season with the team. Kikanovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 12.5rpg), assists (6th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 57.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Serbian shooting guard Dejan Janjic (198-SG-1995) of Qatar Sports Club Doha. Janjic impressed basketball fans with 39 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Qatar Club was edged by league's leader Al Arabi (#2, 4-0) 88-85. Qatar Club managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Qatar Club managed to get this year. Janjic is one of the most experienced players at Qatar Club and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.5ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.8rpg and 3.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was international forward Babacar Dieng (196-F-1997) of Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (#3). Dieng got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . He was a key player of Al Sadd, leading his team to a 86-75 win against the lower-ranked Al Wakrah (#8, 1-4). Al Sadd is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Dieng has a great season in Qatar. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.4ppg (8th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
