Al Sadd - Al Wakrah 103-93

Al Sadd looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American Grant Dressler (201-1997, college: Chaminade) fired a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. International forward Ndoye Seydou (201-1999) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American guard Sindou Diallo (194-2000, college: Montana Tech) produced 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and international Omar Saad (182-2000) added 21 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Five Al Sadd and four Al Wakrah players scored in double figures.

Al Rayyan - Al Arabi 65-84

Lebanese guard Wael Arakji (193-1994) stepped up and scored 28 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and American Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Al Arabi players scored in double figures. Al Arabi's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Tyler Harris (208-1993, college: Auburn) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Justin Wright-Foreman (183-1997, college: Hofstra) scored 17 points.

Al Gharafa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Qatar Club's 28. Al Gharafa players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Holland Woods II (184-1999, college: GCU) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Brian Halums (196-1997, college: UAFS) contributed with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Al Gharafa players scored in double figures. Serbian Dejan Janjic (198-1995) answered with 41 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese forward Alioune Ndoye (199-1986) added 17 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Qatar Club.

American power forward Raekwon Rogers (203-1999, college: Wagner, agency: One Motive Sports) stepped up and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Bruce Massey (190-1990, college: MTSU, agency: BIG) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists. Rogers is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Al Ahli D. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Brandon Weatherspoon (193, college: FAU) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and international forward Faris Avdic (201-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds.
