Al Ahli Sports Club Doha keeps Massey for another season- October 20, 2024
He was a team leader there last season. In 14 QBL games he averaged impressive 15.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 7.9apg and 4.1spg. He helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Defensive Player of the Year, voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Second Team and selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Cup Second Team. The previous (2023) summer he played at Cimarrones (Liga WPlay) in Colombian league. In 2013 he was drafted by Springfield Armor (D-League) in eighth round (115th overall). The former Middle Tennessee State University star is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on three different continents. Massey is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Highlanders and Rattlers), Colombia, Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan), Romania (Pitesti), Turkey (Ormanspor), Ukraine (Odessa and Kyiv Basket), NBA G League (Springfield A., College Park SkyHawks and Grand Rapids Gold), APBL (Rockville V.) and MPBA (St.Louis RS). Massey's team won Ukrainian Superleague Regular Season in 2021. Massey played also for Dodge City Community College for 2 years.
