Victor Rudd (ex Brillantes) joins Al Arabi

Al Arabi Club Doha (QBL) agreed terms with 33-year old American power forward Victor Rudd (206cm-93kg-1991, college: S.Florida) for new 2024-25 season. He played last season at Brillantes in Venezuelan SPB league. In three games just recently he had 8.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 4.7apg and 1.0spg. The last season he played at Atletico Aguada Montevideo (LUB) in Uruguayan league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Rudd is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eleven different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Rudd has played previously professionally in Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Italy (Torino), Poland (Stal), Puerto Rico (Fajardo, Capitanes and Gigantes), Russia (PBC CSKA Moscow and BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod), Turkey (Gaziantep), Uruguay (Bigua), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats) and The Basketball Tournament (HBC Sicklerville).
He graduated from University of South Florida in 2014 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. Rudd played also for Arizona State University for one year.
