Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Chris Singleton (206-1989, college: FSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Walter Lemon Jr. (191-1992, college: Bradley) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Al Arabi players scored in double figures. Al Arabi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Sindou Diallo (194-2000, college: Montana Tech) answered with 23 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese forward Alioune Ndoye (199-1986) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Qatar Club.
