Al Gharafa Doha (QBL) has signed 34-year-old American point guard Randy Culpepper, who stands at 183cm tall and played college basketball at UTEP. Culpepper previously played for Somouha in the Egyptian Superleague and Basket Brno in the Czech Republic. Last season, he averaged 12.9ppg, 2.3rpg, and 2.5apg in 22 Czech Republic games, as well as 6.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 5.5apg, and 4.0spg in 2 European North Basketball League games.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in nine different countries on four continents thanks to pro basketball. He has experience in European, Asian, Latin American, and North American leagues, including France, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, and South Korea.

He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2011 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in professional basketball.
