Dieng's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old forward Babacar Dieng (196-F-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al Sadd Sports Club Doha and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Al Rayyan (#3, 9-7) 88-74. Al Sadd maintains the 7th position in Qatari league. Al Sadd is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-10 record. In the team's last game Dieng had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Al Sadd, through which he has constantly improved. Babacar Dieng averages this season 21.4ppg, 6.0rpg and 4.1apg.

Second best performed player last round was Mubashar Ali (213-C/F) of Al Khor. He is Finnish in his first season at Al Khor. In the last game Ali recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 24 rebounds. Of course Al Khor cruised to a 81-72 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Qatar Club (#6, 7-9). Despite this victory they still are dead at the bottom. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Al Khor managed to get this year. Ali is a newcomer at Al Khor and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mustafa Ali (177-PG-2002) of league's second-best Al Arabi Club Doha. Ali got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He was a key player of Al Arabi, leading his team to a 83-62 easy win against #4 ranked Al Gharafa in a game of the week. Al Arabi is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 13-3 record is not that bad... The season just started for Ali as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
