24-year old forward Ndoye Seydou (201-F-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Al Ahli Sports Club Doha and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had the game-high 27 points adding four rebounds for Al Ahli in his team's victory, helping them to crush Al Khor (#9, 1-11) with 23-point margin 85-62. It allowed Al Ahli to take over top position in the Qatari league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Al Ahli has a very solid 9-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Seydou had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Al Ahli, through which he has constantly improved. Seydou has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 15.0ppg) and averages solid 3.3spg and 52.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tyler Harris (208-C-1993, agency: AG Sports Solutions) of Al Shamal Doha. He is American center in his first season at Al Shamal. In the last game Harris recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Shamal was edged by slightly higher-ranked Al Sadd (4-8) 77-74. This loss caused Al Shamal to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Harris is a newcomer at Al Shamal and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#5). He also registered 10.5 boards per game. Former Auburn University star Harris is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Abdulla Mousa (184-PG-2008) of Al Rayyan Doha (#3). Mousa scored 27 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of Al Rayyan, leading his team to a 85-83 win against #2 ranked Al Arabi in a game of the week. Al Rayyan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 4 lost games. Mousa has a very solid season. In 12 games in Qatar he scored 12.8ppg.
