American Holland Woods II (184-G-1999, agency: Octagon Europe) had a very impressive game in the last round for Qatar Sports Club Doha and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 38 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Qatar Club in his team's victory, helping them to beat Al Sadd (#6, 2-2) 85-72. Qatar Club is placed at 3rd position in Qatari QBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Qatar Club will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Woods II had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It's his second year at Qatar Club and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Grand Canyon State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Woods II is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.8ppg. Woods II is in league's top in and averages solid 3.0spg and 51.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Ronald Delph (213-C-1993) of Al Sadd Sports Club Doha. Delph impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Sadd lost that game 72-85 to the higher-ranked Qatar Club (#3, 3-2). This loss caused Al Sadd to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Delph is a newcomer at Al Sadd and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Al Sadd's star - international forward Babacar Dieng (196-F-1997). Dieng scored 22 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Dieng's great performance Al Sadd Sports Club Doha lost 72-85 to the higher-ranked Qatar Club (#3, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The last thing Al Sadd needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Dieng has a great season in Qatar. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.4ppg (8th best).
