Al-Rayyan-Doha (QBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American guard Malik Curry (185cm-82kg-1999, college: WVU, agency: Green Sports Management). Curry started the season at Etha in Cypriot OPAP Basket League. In 14 games he recorded very impressive stats: 26.9ppg, 5.9rpg, 4.1apg and 1.8spg. He was also voted League Player of the Week (4 times).
Curry graduated from West Virginia University in 2022 and it is his first season as a professional player.
