Jackson comes back to Al Khor, ex Byblos

Al-Khor (QBL) added to their roster 28-year old American point guard Ameer Jackson (193cm-84kg-1994, college: WSSU) for season 2022-23. Jackson joins another USA player Tony Criswell who is already in the roster.
It is actually his comeback to Al Khor as he has played here before. He started the season at Byblos Sporting Club in Lebanese LBL league. In two games he recorded very impressive stats: 23.5ppg, 8.5rpg, 5.0apg and 1.0spg.
Jackson is quite experienced player. Thanks to Jackson's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in six different countries. He has played previously professionally in Iraq (Ghaz Al-Shamal), Kosovo (Rahoveci), Romania (CNA Vlaicu), Tunisia (Ezzahra), Dominican Republic (Soles) and Libya (Al Hilal).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in CIAA Southern Division in 2017. Jackson was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
He graduated from Winston Salem State University in 2017 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
