Al Shamal Doha (QBL) inked 33-year old American 191cm point guard Dwight Buycks (college: Marquette) for upcoming season. Buycks played this summer at Golden Eagles (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In two TBT games just recently he averaged 8.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0spg. Buycks also played for Indios in Puerto Rican BSN where in 21 games he had 13.7ppg, 3.9rpg, 6.0apg (top 5) and 1.1spg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention.
The former Marquette University standout is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
