Al Shamal Doha (QBL) hired experienced 56-year old Iranian coach Mehran Shahintab for season 2022-2023. Shahintab coached last season at Chemidor in Iranian league. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Shahintab has been coaching Iranian Senior National Team between 2020 and 2022.
He has coached also for other Iranian teams like Gorgan, Saba, Petrochimi and Azad.
