Al Sadd outscored Al Gharafa to win the championship series 2-1. Al Sadd forced 19 Al Gharafa turnovers and outrebounded them 50-32 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin forward Alen Hadzibegovic (207-1999, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. American guard Byron Ashe (186-1995, college: Longwood) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals.
