Joshua Caldwell (ex Al Kahraba) joins Al Arabi

Al Arabi Club Doha (D1) agreed terms with 30-year old American power forward Joshua Caldwell (203cm-98kg-91, college: William Penn, agency: SDJ Sports). Caldwell joins another USA player Nick West who is already in the roster.
He started the season at Al Kahraba in Iraqi Superleague. The last summer he played at Express in U.S. semi-pro league TBL where in 23 games he had 14.3ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in Midwest Division. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
He is quite experienced player. Caldwell's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. Caldwell tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Finland (Bisons), Italy (FP Sport Messina), Qatar (Al Gharafa and Al Wakrah), Iraq (Al Karkh) and Ecuador (Punto Rojo).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Finnish 1st Division B championship title in 2018. Caldwell was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Caldwell attended William Penn University until 2016 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
