Hameed Ali (ex Al Wahda) joins Al Sadd

Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (D1) agreed terms with 28-year old American guard Hameed Ali (188cm-82kg-93, college: TAMUCC) for new 2021-22 season. Ali played last season at Al Wahda in UAE ULB league. He helped them to win the regular season. Ali also played for Panteras (LNBP) in Mexican league where in 6 games he had 13.2ppg, 2.7rpg and 4.0apg.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Ali tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Georgia (Olimpi), Puerto Rico (Brujos), United Kingdom (Bristol Acadamy Flyers) and Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan, Ostioneros de Guaymas and Garra Canera de Navolato).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP 2nd Team in 2019.
Ali attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi until 2016 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
