Al Rayyan lands Michael Efevberha- January 13, 2021
In 2006 he was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in first round (112th overall). The former California State University Northridge standout is in his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball. Efevberha also played at the WABA Club Championships four years ago. He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Efevberha experienced life in ten different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Australian and of course North American leagues. Efevberha has played previously professionally in China (Blue Whales, Flying Tigers and Chongqing), Dominican Republic, Israel (Bnei Hasharon), Korea (LG Sakers and Anyang KGC), New Zealand (Saints), Russia (Spartak Primorie Vladivostok), Switzerland (Monthey), France (Cholet Basket), Lebanon (Beirut Club, Sagesse and Homentmen) and Czech Republic (Nymburk). He won Qatari League championship title in 2020. He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Rayyan.
