Al Rayyan Doha (D1) added to their roster 28-year old American small forward Tavarion Nix (201-93kg-92, college: Midwestern State). He played last summer at Fraser Valley Bandits in Canadian CEBL. In 8 games he had 4.8ppg and 2.3rpg. The last season Nix played at Feronikeli in Kosovan Superliga where in 5 games he recorded 14.0ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.4apg, 1.4spg and 1.4bpg.
He is quite experienced player. Nix's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Nix tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Bosnia (Bratunac), Cyprus (Etha), Ukraine (Cherkasy), United Kingdom (Leeds Force), Vietnam (Saigon Heat and Can Tho Catfish), North Macedonia (Gostivar), El Salvador (Santa Tecla and Brujos Izalco) and Thailand (Kabayan).
Nix attended Midwestern State until 2015 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
