Algerian Mohamed Harath (198-F-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Al Arabi and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 34 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Al Khor (#8, 1-12) with 19-point margin 101-82. It allowed Al Arabi to jump to the first place in the Qatari D1. Al Arabi have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Harath had a remarkable 92.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Arabi's top player in his first season with the team. Harath has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 24.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.6rpg) and averages solid 63.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Al Arabi's star - 34-year old Bosnia and Herzegovina power forward Miroslav Todic (205-F/C-85). Todic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 32 points and 17 rebounds. Of course together with Harath he helped Al Arabi with another comfortable win 101-82 over the lower-ranked Al Khor (#8, 1-12) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Al Arabi to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 10 matches. Todic is a newcomer at Al Arabi and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 12.4rpg and 3.2apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Tony Farmer (201-F-94) of Al Rayyan (#5). Farmer showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Rayyan, leading his team to a 81-75 win against slightly higher-ranked Al Wakrah (#3, 9-4). Al Rayyan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Farmer has a great season in Qatar. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.2rpg (7th best).
