Al Gharafa inks Alvin Mofunanya

ALVIN MOFUNANYA

Al Gharafa Doha (D1) signed 31-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) power forward Alvin Mofunanya (203-95kg-87, college: Fair Dickinson). He played last summer at Tri-State Titans (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. The last season Mofunanya was tested by Al Sadd.
His team won Qatar Heir Apparent Cup in 2012.
Mofunanya is quite experienced player. He has played on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Mofunanya has played previously professionally in Argentina (Lanus), Saudi Arabia (Al Nasr, Uhud, Al Ittihad and Al Ansar), Qatar (Al Ahli, Al Rayyan, Al Arabi and Al Shamal) and Libya (Ahly Benghazi).
He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University until 2010 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
