Jasmon Youngblood (ex Al Ittihad) is a newcomer at Al Wakrah- March 12, 2019
POSTED BY: Ahmad Madwar
Among other achievements his team won Lebanese Cup in 2012 and 2016. Youngblood also represented Lebanon at the Asian Championships in Changsha-Hunan (China) four years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 17.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.1apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 54.9%, 3PT: 30.0%, FT: 53.2%. Thanks to Youngblood's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Youngblood has played previously professionally in Austria (Gunners Oberwart, Furstenfeld Panthers and Kapfenberg Bulls), Poland (Swiecie) and Lebanon (Sagesse, Anibal, Champville and Byblos). It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Wakrah. Youngblood attended Kent State until 2006 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. The scouts decsribe him following way: Is a versatile player that can play at either of the wing positions, or can play at the four in Kent State's system ... Is a complete all-around player and a proven winner, having played in back-to-back junior college national championships ... Has the ability to create his own shot, rebound and finish.
