Qatar Sports Club Doha (D1) added to their roster 25-year old American forward Aaron Rountree III (203-91kg-93, college: Iona). He played last summer at Gael Nation (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Rountree III managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. He ended the last season at ASA Koroivos Amaliadas (A1) in league where in 11 games he recorded 4.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.2spg and 1.2bpg. But the most of that year Rountree III spent at Gmunden Swans (A Bundesliga) in league. In 29 games he averaged 7.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.9apg, 2.0spg (in top 2) and 1.2bpg. He helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Rountree III's college team won China Four Nations Tournament in 2016. He was also voted HS Coastal Plains Independent Conference Player of the Year back in 2011.
Rountree III has played also professionally in Slovakia (Lucenec).
He attended Iona College until 2016 and it will be his third season as a professional player.

The Philippines unleashed a third-quarter storm on the way to a decisive victory to regain the third spot in Gro...   [read more]
