Trey Johnson
Hitachi Sunrockers Tokyo (NBL) agreed terms with 30-year old Qatari ex-international guard Trey Johnson (196-99kg-84, college: Jackson State). He already started the season at Sacramento Kings in the NBA, but was cut in pre-season. The last season Johnson played at Maccabi Rishon (Winner League) in Israel. In 7 games he had 12.7ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.3apg.
The former Jackson State standoutis in his eighth season in pro basketball.
On Johnson: A powerful SG, with great scoring skills. He can score almost from everywhere on the court, but has a great touch around the basket, where he can easily go thanks to great athletic skills. Knows well the game, can pass and defend. Not a star player, but a great gym worker and a player who adapts well to every team in which he goes.
