Rain or Shine - Ginebra Kings 97-85

Worth to mention a great performance of American center Jaylen Johnson (206-1996, college: Louisville, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jhonard Clarito (188-1996) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Painters players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American forward Justin Brownlee (197-1988, college: St.John's) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Scottie Thompson (188-1993) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

TNT Tropang - Meralco Bolts 90-101

Bolts dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Giga's 42. Bolts players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by Egyptian-American center Patrick Gardner (211-1999, college: Marist) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Javee Mocon (193-1995) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Even 24 points and 9 rebounds by naturalized American forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Giga. Naturalized Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
