Upshaw's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old American center Robert Upshaw (213-C-1994) had a great game in the last round for Blackwater Bossing and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had a double-double of 45 points and 18 rebounds, while his team lost the game against FiberXers (#9, 5-7) 122-136. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Bossing maintains the 12th position in Filipino league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 10 games and recorded just two victories. Upshaw just recently signed at Bossing, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Upshaw is in league's top in points (2nd best: 34.4ppg) and averages solid 64.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bol Bol (218-C-1999) of Talk N Text Tropang Giga. He is South Sudanese-American center in his first season at TNT Tropang. In the last game Bol recorded an impressive double-double of 33 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Giga lost that game 86-93 to the higher-ranked Ginebra Kings (#2, 9-3). This loss caused TNT Tropang to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bol is one of the most experienced players at TNT Tropang and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 38.2ppg (#1). He also registered 14.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward James Dickey III (208-F/C-1996, agency: JCK Sports Group) of Phoenix Fuel Masters (#7). Dickey III showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Dickey III's great performance the Masters lost 104-116 to slightly higher-ranked SM Beermen (#6, 7-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Phoenix needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 6 lost games. Dickey III has a great season in Philippines. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 18.8rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.4bpg and a FGP of 52.7%.
