Jenning Leung gets MVP of the Week award for Filipino PBA (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Jenning Leung (183-PG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Macau Black Bears and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 30-year old playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding eight rebounds and eight assists for Macau BB in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Blackwater (2-8) 123-119. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Black Bears is placed at 12th position in Filipino PBA. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Macau have already lost 8 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Leung had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Black Bears, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Leung has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 5.4apg) and averages solid 2.6spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Marvin Jones (213-C-1993) of Meralco Bolts. Jones impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Bolts lost that game 92-103 to the lower-ranked SM Beermen (#8, 5-5). Meralco Bolts managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Jones is one of the most experienced players at Meralco Bolts and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.6ppg (#7). He also registered 13.1 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Macau BB's star - Australian Ramon Cao (202-F-1997). Cao scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of Macau Black Bears, helping his team with a 123-119 win against Blackwater (2-8). Black Bears can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Cao has a very solid season. In 10 games in Philippines he scored 12.9ppg.

10. Jerom Lastimosa (178-PG-1998) of Hotshots - 16 points and 3 assists
