American forward Justin Brownlee (197-F-1988, college: St.John's) was tied for the best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 35 points he had in the Filipino league. Brownlee graduated from St. John's University in 2011. His excellent performance made his team the Kings beat the Titan Ultra Giant Risers 119 to 107. He also added 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal that evening. Brownlee is the 4th best scorer in the league averaging over 31 points and over 8 rebounds per game. Among many awards he won the Indonesian IBL championship title in 2024. Brownlee was also selected as the AsiaBasket All PBA Governor's Cup Player of the Year as well as the Import Player of the Year back in 2022.
