Upshaw's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old American center Robert Upshaw (213-C-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Blackwater Bossing and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 43 points and 14 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Ginebra Kings (#3, 6-2) 108-115. Bossing maintains the 12th position in Filipino league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 7 games and recorded just two victories. Upshaw just recently signed at Bossing, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Upshaw is in league's top in points (2nd best: 33.4ppg) and averages solid 66.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bol Bol (218-C-1999, agency: The Crew A.M.) of Talk N Text Tropang Giga. He is South Sudanese-American center in his first season at TNT Tropang. In the last game Bol recorded an impressive double-double of 32 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Giga lost that game 92-97 to the lower-ranked FiberXers (#10, 3-6). Despite lost game TNT Tropang moved up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 6-3 record is not bad at all. Bol is one of the most experienced players at TNT Tropang and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 38.0ppg (#1). He also registered 14.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center June Mar Fajardo (210-C-1989) of San Miguel Beermen (#8). Fajardo scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Fajardo's great performance the Beermen lost 120-126 to the lower-ranked Blackwater (#12, 2-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of SM Beermen ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Fajardo could help SM Beermen to bring them higher in the standings. Fajardo has a great season in Philippines. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.2rpg (7th best).
