Lalanne's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

33-year old Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-C-1992) put on an amazing game in the last round for NLEX Road Warriors and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Phoenix (#4, 3-2) with 18-point margin 120-102. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Warriors is placed at 3rd position in Filipino league. They are still close to the very top. NLEX RW would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Lalanne had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Warriors's top player in his first season with the team. University of Massachusetts graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lalanne is in league's top in points (8th best: 25.6ppg), rebounds (8th best: 14.4rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 59.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bol Bol (218-C-1999) of Talk N Text Tropang Giga. He is South Sudanese-American center in his first season at TNT Tropang. In the last game Bol recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Giga was edged by the higher-ranked Meralco Bolts (#2, 4-1) 110-106. This loss caused TNT Tropang to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bol is one of the most experienced players at TNT Tropang and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 35.0ppg (#2). He also registered 15.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Marvin Jones (213-C-1993) of league's second-best Meralco Bolts. Jones scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Bolts, leading his team to a 110-106 win against the lower-ranked TNT Tropang (#8, 2-2). Meralco Bolts is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Jones has a great season in Philippines. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.0rpg (9th best).
