Bol's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old SSD-USAn center Bol Bol (218-C-1999) had a great game in the last round for Talk N Text Tropang Giga and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 40 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat NLEX RW (#4, 2-1) 103-97. Giga is placed at 7th position in Filipino league. TNT Tropang is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Bol had a remarkable 51.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Giga and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. University of Oregon graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bol is league's best scorer averaging so far 39.0ppg. Bol is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 15.5rpg), assists (5th best: 2.0apg) and averages solid 3.5bpg and 50.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nuni Omot (204-SF-1994) of Magnolia Hotshots. He is South Sudanese-American in his first season at Hotshots. In the last game Omot recorded an impressive 38 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Bad luck as Hotshots lost that game 91-97 to the higher-ranked Blackwater (#8, 1-2). Hotshots is still in a red zone at 12th spot in the standings. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Omot is a newcomer at Hotshots and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.3ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 7.3rpg and 6.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward James Dickey III (208-F/C-1996, agency: JCK Sports Group) of Phoenix Fuel Masters (#5). Dickey III scored 28 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). Despite Dickey III's great performance the Masters lost 86-93 to the league's current leader Meralco Bolts (#2, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Phoenix needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Dickey III has a great season in Philippines. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 21.3rpg (#1 in league).
