Titan UGR looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Belgian-American forward Michael Gilmore (208-1995, college: VCU, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American guard Joshua Munzon (191-1995, college: CS Los Angeles) chipped in 29 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) produced 27 points and 7 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Risers left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with FiberXers and Blackwater. Defending champion SM Beermen still closes the standings with one game lost. Titan UGR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SM Beermen will play at home against FiberXers (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

American power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG, agency: JCK Sports Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 21 rebounds for Phoenix. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Meralco Bolts moved-up to second place, which they share with Rain or Shine. Phoenix at the other side dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. They share it with NLEX RW. TNT Tropang will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NLEX RW will play against Ginebra Kings (#6) in Manila and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
