Dickey III's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American power forward James Dickey III (208-F/C-1996, agency: JCK Sports Group) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Phoenix Fuel Masters and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 26 rebounds, while his team edged out Hotshots (#11, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 101-98. Masters is placed at 2nd position in Filipino league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Phoenix won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Dickey III turned to be Masters's top player in his first season with the team. University of North Carolina at Greensboro graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dickey III is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 21.5rpg) and averages solid 2.5bpg and 2.5spg.

Second best performed player last round was Joshua Munzon (191-G-1995) of Titan Ultra Giant Risers. He is naturalized American guard in his 3rd season at Titan UGR. In the last game Munzon recorded an impressive 32 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Risers lost that game 82-112 to Terrafirma Dyip (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Munzon is one of the most experienced players at Titan UGR and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#8).

Third place about best performers goes to center Cady Lalanne (208-C-1992) of league's leader NLEX Road Warriors. Lalanne scored 22 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Warriors, leading his team to a 84-81 win against Blackwater (#10, 0-1). NLEX RW has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Lalanne also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Lalanne has a great season in Philippines. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 13.5rpg (7th best).
