Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Schonny Winston (193-1998) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. South Sudanese-American Nuni Omot (204-1994, college: Baylor) replied with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for Hotshots. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Finnish power forward Mubashar Ali (213-1997, college: FMU, agency: BIG) had a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!) and 25 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Geo Chiu chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. American center Kylor Kelley (213-1997, college: Oregon St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 22 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dyip will play against Blackwater in Caloocan City in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FiberXers will play on the road against Meralco Bolts in Manila and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between Masters and Risers in Quezon on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Masters outscored guests from Pasig City 109-76. James Dickey III notched a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 27 points and 20 rebounds by Michael Gilmore did not help to save the game for Titan UGR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
