Beermen shot 26 for 36 from the free-throw line, while TNT Tropang only scored ten points from the stripe. 27 personal fouls committed by TNT Tropang helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 27 rebounds. Guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized American forward Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser (201-1994, college: UC Riverside) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists in the effort for TNT Tropang. Five Beermen and four TNT Tropang players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
