The most exciting game of round 14 in the PBA took place in Manila. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Titan UGR (4-7) to sixth ranked Kings (7-4) 108-105 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Titan UGR. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 35-30 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Kings made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Titan UGR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Rhon Jhay Abarrientos (181-1999) who scored 24 points and 6 assists. American Stephen Holt (193-1991, college: SMC) chipped in 27 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). produced 31 points, 8 assists and 6 steals for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ginebra Kings have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with FiberXers. Titan UGR at the other side keeps the ninth position with seven games lost.
