Fajardo's 18 points and 9 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

36-year old center June Mar Fajardo (210-C-1989) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for San Miguel Beermen and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 18 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for SM Beermen in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Hotshots (4-2) 94-92. Beermen is placed at 4th position in Filipino league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. SM Beermen will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Fajardo has many years of experience at Beermen, through which he has constantly improved. Fajardo has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.8ppg) and averages solid 1.7bpg and 66.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jhonard Clarito (188-G-1996) of Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. He is a guard in his 4th season at Rain or Shine. In the last game Clarito recorded an impressive 26 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Painters lost that game 91-105 to slightly higher-ranked NLEX RW (5-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Rain or Shine still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Clarito is one of the most experienced players at Rain or Shine and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward JB Bahio (196-F) of league's second-best NLEX Road Warriors. Bahio showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Warriors, leading his team to a 105-91 easy win against #3 ranked Rain or Shine. NLEX RW needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Bahio has a great season in Philippines. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (9th best).
