PBA Round 3 (Regular Season): Blackwater lose to Bolts

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 3 most important game was a defeat of Bossing (1-1). They were defeated by Bolts (2-2) 105-96 on Wednesday night. Meralco Bolts dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Bossing's 42 and made 28-of-37 free shots (75.7 percent) during the game. Meralco Bolts looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Meralco Bolts made 8 blocks. 24 personal fouls committed by Blackwater helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Sedrick Barefield (188-1996, college: Utah) with 34 points (!!!). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bossing will play next round against Rain or Shine trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Bolts will try to continue on its current victory against Hotshots in Pasig City.
Kings defeated TNT Tropang in Makati 92-77. It was an exceptional evening for who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Japeth Aguilar accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Kevin Ferrer (194-1993) came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds for TNT Tropang in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TNT Tropang will play next round against Titan UGR trying to get back on the winning streak. Kings will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Quite upsetting was Ginebra Kings' (#5) home defeat in a game versus TNT Tropang 89-75. The best player for the winners was Kevin Ferrer who scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Jeth Troy Rosario who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. TNT Tropang will meet at home Titan UGR (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ginebra Kings will have a break next round.

Center Japeth Aguilar (206-1987, college: WKU) accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Kings players scored in double figures. Forward Kevin Ferrer (194-1993) came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds and added 17 points respectively for TNT Tropang in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TNT Tropang will play next round against Titan UGR trying to get back on the winning streak.
