His excellent performance made his team Titan Ultra Giant Risers beat the Bolts 100 to 96. He also grabbed 7 rebounds that game. Among many awards Abueva's team won the PBA Commissioner's Cup Regular Season in 2013 and 2024. Abueva was also selected as the AsiaBasket All PBA Philippine Cup Player of the Year back in 2021.
