June Mar Fajardo gets MVP of the Week award for Filipino PBA (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced June Mar Fajardo (210-C-1989) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best San Miguel Beermen and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 35-year old center had a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Meralco Bolts (#3, 2-2) 110-98. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Beermen maintains the 2nd position in Filipino PBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. SM Beermen will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Fajardo has many years of experience at Beermen, through which he has constantly improved. Fajardo has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.3ppg) and averages solid 62.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Robert Bolick (185-G-1995) of NLEX Road Warriors. Bolick impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 12 assists. Of course he led Warriors to another comfortable win 109-95 over Rain or Shine (1-1) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Bolick is well-known by NLEX RW fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 5.0rpg and 10.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was Arvin Tolentino (195-F-1995) of North Port Batang Pier (#7). Tolentino showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of North Port, leading his team to a 97-75 easy win against Terrafirma Dyip (#8, 1-2). North Port needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. The season just started for Tolentino as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

7. Jaymar Perez (188-G-1993) of SM Beermen - 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Caelan Tiongson (196-G/F-1992) of Rain or Shine - 24 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Ricci Rivero (185-G-1998) of Phoenix - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Justine Arana (201-F-1999) of FiberXers - 19 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
