Strong Group Athletics agreed terms with 29-year old double-passport holder American forward Chris McCullough (208cm-102kg-1995, college: Syracuse) for new 2025 season. He played last season at Dreamers in Taiwanese TPBL. In 31 PLeague+ games he had very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.9apg, 1.7spg and 1.2bpg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. 2023-24 was a great season as he was voted Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese PLeague+ Forward of the Year, League Player of the Week (2 times) and named to Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese PLeague+ First Team.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at another Taiwanese team Taishin Dreamers (PLeague+).
In 2015 he was drafted by Brooklyn Nets (NBA) in first round (29th overall). McCullough attended Syracuse University and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
He represented Philippines at the National Prep Championship Semifinals eleven years ago.
McCullough is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in ten different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. McCullough has played previously professionally in China (Loongs), Lithuania (Rytas), Puerto Rico (Brujos and Gigantes), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards), Bahrain (Al-Ahli), South Korea (Anyang), Philippines (Beermen), NBA G League (NAZ Suns, RGV Vipers, College Park SkyHawks, Long Island Nets and Wisconsin Herd) and The Basketball Tournament (Boeheim's Army).
He won Korean KBL championship title in 2021.
