Magnolia Hotshots (PBA) agreed terms with 30-year old American guard Jabari Bird (198cm-90kg-1994, college: California). He played this summer at Rajawali in Indonesian IBL league. In 22 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 7.7rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg. Great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL Honorable Mention.
In 2017 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (56th overall). The former University of California standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Bird has played also professionally in Mexico (Rayos de Hermosillo), NBA (Atlanta Hawks) and NBA G League (Maine Celtics).
Bird's team won Mexican CIBACOPA Regular Season in 2023.
