Fajardo's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

34-year old center June Mar Fajardo (210-C-1989) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team San Miguel Beermen and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 19 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Meralco Bolts (#3, 6-5) 95-92. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Despite this loss SM Beermen managed to keep Filipino league leading position. SM Beermen has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. But that lost game cost them to change their overall "almost perfect" record to 10-1. Fajardo has many years of experience at SM Beermen, through which he has constantly improved. Fajardo has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 14.1rpg. Fajardo is in league's top in and averages solid 1.1bpg and 51.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Clifford Hodge (196-PF-1988) of Meralco Bolts. He is naturalized American forward in his 12th season at Meralco Bolts. In the last game Hodge recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Meralco Bolts to edge slightly higher-ranked SM Beermen (#1, 10-1) by 3 points 95-92. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Meralco Bolts consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Hodge is one of the most experienced players at Meralco Bolts and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jeth Troy Rosario (201-F-1992) of Blackwater Bossing (#10). Rosario scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Blackwater, leading his team to a 102-83 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Phoenix (#11, 3-8). The chances of Blackwater not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Rosario could try to bring Blackwater's a little bit higher in the standings. Rosario has a very solid season. In 11 games in Philippines he scored 17.4ppg. He also has 7.0rpg and a FGP of 53.9%.
