Robert Bolick gets MVP of the Week award for Filipino PBA (by Hoops Agents)

Robert Bolick (185-G-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for NLEX Road Warriors and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 28-year old guard had the game-high 38 points adding four rebounds and five assists for NLEX RW as his team lost the game against Rain or Shine (6-5) 104-120. NLEX RW is placed at 6th position in Filipino PBA. NLEX RW is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 5th lost game this season out of 11 games. In the team's last game Bolick had a remarkable 73.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be NLEX RW's top player in his first season with the team. Bolick has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.6ppg and is league's best passer with 7.0apg. Bolick is in league's top in and averages solid 57.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American shooting guard Stephen Holt (193-SG-1991) of Terrafirma Dyip. Holt impressed basketball fans with 32 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Terrafirma Dyip lost that game 100-108 to slightly higher-ranked Hotshots (#7, 6-5). Terrafirma Dyip is still in a red zone at 8th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Holt is a newcomer at Terrafirma Dyip and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.3ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 8.4rpg and 6.4apg.

The third best performed player last round was June Mar Fajardo (210-C-1989) of top-ranked San Miguel Beermen. Fajardo scored 21 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of SM Beermen, leading his team to a 124-109 easy win against the lower-ranked Blackwater (#10, 4-7). Many experts and fans count SM Beermen as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Fajardo has a great season in Philippines. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.1rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 51.6%.

10. Rafi Reavis (203-C-1977) of Hotshots - 10 points and 13 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
