Holt's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

32-year old American shooting guard Stephen Holt (193-SG-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for Terrafirma Dyip and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out North Port (#9, 5-6) 110-108. Terrafirma Dyip maintains the 8th position in Filipino league. Terrafirma Dyip is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. In the team's last game Holt had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Terrafirma Dyip's top player in his first season with the team. Saint Mary's College of California graduate has very impressive stats this year. Holt is in league's top in points (8th best: 20.1ppg), rebounds (5th best: 8.9rpg), assists (2nd best: 6.2apg) and averages solid 2.6spg and 65.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jason Perkins (193-F-1992) of Phoenix Fuel Masters. He is naturalized American forward in his 7th season at Phoenix. In the last game Perkins recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Phoenix lost that game 101-108 to the higher-ranked TNT Tropang (#5, 5-4). Phoenix is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-7 record. Perkins is one of the most experienced players at Phoenix and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Arvin Tolentino (195-F-1995) of North Port Batang Pier (#9). Tolentino scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Tolentino's great performance the North Port lost 108-110 to slightly higher-ranked Terrafirma Dyip (#8, 5-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of North Port ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Tolentino could help North Port to bring them higher in the standings. Tolentino has a great season in Philippines. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (3rd best). He also has 1.3bpg and a FGP of 56.1%.
