Round 10 most important game was a victory of Terrafirma Dyip over 7th ranked North Port 110-108 on Wednesday night. Terrafirma Dyip dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to North Port's 54. They outrebounded North Port 47-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American Stephen Holt (193-1991, college: SMC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Guard Juan Tiongson (178-1991) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Arvin Tolentino (195-1995) replied with 25 points and 7 rebounds for North Port. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Terrafirma Dyip (5-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rain or Shine. North Port lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Terrafirma Dyip will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. North Port will play on the road against Blackwater (#10) in Caloocan City and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for SM Beermen (8-0) which played road game in Pasig City against 3rd ranked Hotshots (5-3). Top-ranked SM Beermen managed to get a 7-point victory 98-91. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hotshots. Guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) scored 25 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and June Mar Fajardo chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Paul Lee (185-1989) responded with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated SM Beermen have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Hotshots at the other side keep the third place with three games lost. They share the position with NLEX RW. SM Beermen will play against NLEX RW (#3) in Makati City in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hotshots will play on the road against Meralco Bolts in Manila and hope to get back on the winning track.

Roger Ray Pogoy notched 23 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds by Jason Perkins did not help to save the game for Phoenix. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. TNT Tropang moved-up to fifth place. Loser Phoenix keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 10 Meralco Bolts beat Phoenix on the road 82-76.

TNT Tropang looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Roger Ray Pogoy (189-1992) notched 23 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Kelly Williams (201-1982, college: Oakland) supported him with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Even a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds by naturalized American forward Jason Perkins (193-1992, college: VCSU) did not help to save the game for Phoenix. Guard Kent Salado (175-1994) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
